Only State operator in charge of the integration of migrants during the first 5 years of their stay in France, OFII coordinates and runs the National Reception System (DNA) for asylum seekers and refugees.

After asylum seekers passed through the GUDA (one-stop desk for asylum), OFII opens the material reception conditions (CMA).
OFII manages part of the entry of asylum seekers into the Reception Centres for Asylum Seekers (CADA), the Temporary Accommodation Centres (CPH) for refugees and other accommodation facilities covered by the DNA.
OFII also processes applications for professional and family immigration, as well as assistance for return and reintegration.
