Laboratoire Biogroup Sainte-Marthe 14e
Analysis laboratory offering screening tests for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, Syphilis, Hepatitis B and HIV.
Who can be tested and how?
Anyone over the age of 18, or minor over the age of 16 with the consent of a parent or guardian, can undergo STI screening in a laboratory.
No prescription or appointment is required.
Costs
HIV testing is always covered at 100% by the Assurance Maladie, and is therefore free for anyone with active health cover (including the AME).
For other STIs:
- If you are under 26: screening is fully covered by the Assurance Maladie, at no cost to you.
- If you are over 26: STI screening is reimbursed 60% by the Assurance Maladie and 40% by your mutual insurance company, if you have one (otherwise, you will have to pay this part).
For people who do not have health insurance:
- screening tests can be carried out in a laboratory, but you will have to pay for them yourself
- CeGIDDs carry out free and anonymous tests without any conditions, including for under-16s
