The aim of V.I.S.A.S.13 is to help people in the greatest difficulty by providing them with free foodstuffs collected from partners. V.I.S.A.S.13’s social grocery shop in Marseille’s 13th arrondissement is the forerunner of a concept that also gives families living on the edge of the minimum social benefits system access to a range of basic necessities at very low prices. Its premises include a social launderette, open to anyone who wants it.
