The right to stay for health reasons (PASS Rimbaud)

Extract from Récit de Daniel • 40 years old • Man • Cameroonian

Two days later, during a second appointment at the Prefecture, I could to talk about my health conditions; I was given a medical certificate for the OFII. So I had to go and see a doctor, do the necessary tests so that he may establish my health problems and fill out this paper.

I went to the Hôpital de la Timone, at the Rimbaud PASS service, and I subsequently sent the certificate to the OFII, by registered mail.

When I returned to the Prefecture, I was given a one-month residence permit (receipt), authorising me to stay on French territory while my file was being studied.
