The 115 waiting for the PADA

Extract from Récit de Dawood • 30 years old • Man • Afghan

I didn’t know anyone in Marseille, I arrived at St. Charles and there they told me to go down the stairs of the station and go to the right for the refugees. When I arrived to (what is it called?) the Plateforme Asile… there was a long line in front of it. The afghans who waited asked me if I was new and I said that I had just arrived. The afghans told me that I could call the 115 and that at first I would be given 1 month and 9 days. The Plateforme Asile registered my name, nationality, and I had a place within 2 or 3 days, it was quick.
