In order to understand things more clearly I went to the CIMADE (inter-movement committee for aid to refugees) where I was well taken care of.
The criteria for obtaining a residence permit were quite strict: they look at the type of work contract you have, the hours you work, the pay and, most importantly, the position you hold. If you have found a job directly with a business that won’t help you to get to stay in France. In fact, the job has to have been on offer on the Pôle Emploi website for a certain amount of time before you were hired. It’s a way of making sure that you have a job that a French citizen would be interested in.
